I’ve never been before. Do I need to book?

You only have to book if you want to come in with an instructor. This is not compulsory though, so you can always just turn up at your leisure, sign up, and off you go!

Do I have to wear a helmet and pads?

Helmets must be worn at all times while in the skatepark. No exceptions. Pads, however, are at your discretion.

I’m under 18. Do I need to come with a parent or guardian?

At least for your first visit, yes. People under the age of 18 are not allowed entry to the centre without the signed consent on the membership form (so a hand written note or email doesn’t count) under any circumstances.

Can I bring my *insert age here* year old child?

Minimum age for anything in the centre is 4 years old. No exceptions. No, not even if it’s their 4th birthday next week.

Do I need to stay with my children while they skate?

We prefer children under the age of 12 to be supervised at all times, but don’t require it.

Can I spectate?
Yes, however at busier periods we impose a £3 charge. This is due to additional spectators reducing the maximum capacity in the park. Parents are obviously allowed in to supervise their children free of charge.

Where do I put my stuff?

We have lockers, all you need to do is bring your own padlock. Please note that Creation is not responsible for any valuables left or unattended items.

What are your opening hours?

We are open 10am-10pm Monday to Friday, and 10am-7pm on Saturdays and Sundays. We are open every day of the year, except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day!

What time do I have to leave?
We ask everyone to start finishing to ride 15 minutes before the end of the day. A bell will sound in the park denoting the end of the day. The centre's doors close at 10.00pm in the week and 7.00pm on weekends, and all users must vacate the centre by this closing time.

Do you run session times?

No, not any more. Since 10th November 2014 we have abolished session times in favour of a simpler all day rate. Prices do differ from weekday to busier weekends and school holidays, so check out our entry prices page before you come.

Can I pay by card?

Yes, but we have a minimum spend of £5, (otherwise there is a surcharge of 50p…?)

If I come half way through the day, can I get a reduced entry price?
No. We have adjusted our pricing structure to reflect one day rate. If you turn up for the last three hours during the week, then we do have a special 'late' tariff of £5. If you decide to arrive at 4, 5, or 6pm then you will still have to pay the flat rate fee.

What's your cancellation policy for instructed sessions?

Should you need to cancel or move your session, it is a condition of the booking that you give a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Failure to do so will result in no refund or re-booking. Customers will be charged for the number of Creation instructors requested at the time of booking unless 48 hours’ notice is given for alterations.

Do I need to be a member?

Yes. We don’t have day memberships. Membership is free of charge, however, and automatic; it’s only on your first visit that you need to fill out any paperwork.

I’m a student – is there a discount?

Sorry, there is no student discount for using the Skatepark.

Do you have a café on site?

We have a café that serves hot and cold food and drinks. The hot food is available at the following times:

Monday-Friday 12pm-9pm

Saturday-Sunday 10am-6pm

Weekdays during school holidays 10am-9pm

Is there parking?

There is a small car park to the front and side of the building, free of charge.

Is there disability access?

The only stairs in the building are up to the function room for birthday parties. We also have one disabled toilet.
